Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution’s 2013 Annual Conference

This week will be the 26th annual conference for the Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution, entitled. This year will be the fifth year I have had the honor of presenting at this outstanding conflict resolution conference. Fellow presenters range from the senior leadership of Maryland Judiciary’s Mediation and Conflict Resolution Office (MACRO) to Federal ADR specialist, community mediators, and experienced attorney-mediators. The topic of my presentation is This workshop breaks down two of the most useful theories for understanding what the most common sources of conflict are. Conference attendees will learn how interests, values, data, relationships, structure, and macro and micro factors can all contribute to the lifespan and makeup of the problem. I strongly encourage anyone in the metro D.C. area to attend this conference if they wish to improve their skills and stay current on all the most recent developments within the field of conflict resolution.
