This month I had the wonderful opportunity to return to Ireland to present at the 2018 Annual Conference of the Mediator’s Institute of Ireland. It was such a joy to return to Ireland after such a long absence. I had the pleasure of studying at the University of Ulster over twenty years ago and have been deeply impacted by my time there and my studies of ‘The Troubles.’

This trip allowed me the opportunity to reconnect with the conflict resolvers/peacemakers of Ireland an give back. I shared with them, the power of a Verbal Atemi – A Technique for Creative Disruption and how it can be use to impact negative patterns that lead to conflict and escalation. It was ‘grand’ as they say and I hope to see all of my new found friends again soon!
