The Future of Mediation and The Importance of Safety

Clare Flowler of Mediate.com recently interviewed me to discuss my work with the Association for Conflict Resolution’s Taskforce on Safety. We took a deep dive into the background and origin of the Taskforce and its mission to expand the information available to Conflict Resolution Practitioners on personal safety. We highlighted the need to have an honest and sober look at your responsibility for safety self-awareness for yourself and your clients. Specifically, the development of an emergency communication plan and the implementation of a safety plan that accounts for the physical site safety of your current working environment.
